The name TAOASIS is a synthesis of the Chinese TAO and the Arabic OASIS and loosely translated means "life in harmony with nature". Taoasis was originally founded in 1981 by Axel Meyer as a publishing house for health literature and vegetarian nutrition. Even then, the responsible treatment of nature was a "red thread" running through all of the company founder's publications. All products of the company "Taoasis Natur Duft Manufaktur" are therefore as consistently sustainable and fair as possible and are produced in an environmentally friendly way.
